The Seminary Village

Housing in the Dubuque community is generally less expensive than in many other cities where seminaries are located. Townhouses and apartments are available on campus for seminary students. Housing is available on a first-come, space available basis. 

The following chart is designed to assist students in better understanding their housing options at the University of Dubuque. The University provides the following checked items.

Off-Campus Housing:

The University of Dubuque Theological Seminary is located in the heart of Dubuque, Iowa.  The Dubuque area offers a variety of apartments, townhouses, and condominiums.  Please, contact the Office of Residence Life at 563.589.3163 for further information.

*Residents may opt to sign a month to month contract; the monthly rate for this arrangement is $1,035.00.

Pets, other than fish, are only allowed in the limited number of pet-friendly townhouse family units.

All residents are responsible for general, interior and personal area cleaning.

Rental deposits, equal to one month’s rent, are required for all residential units; $100 for students living in single furnished units. They are due to the Student Accounts office prior to moving in.
