In January of 2007 we received approval from the Association of Theological Schools, our accrediting agency, to offer a Master of Divinty degree with courses offered primarily via the internet. Our Distance M.Div. Program combines online courses with residential intensives in a 4-year seminary degree.
Since its founding in 1852, UDTS has offered residential education for pastoral ministry. Now, the traditional M.Div. program is mirrored by a distance education program. The fully accredited distance program enables students to earn a theological education without moving away from their home community.
