The University of Dubuque Fine and Performing Arts Department to Hold Murder Mystery Dinner

The University of Dubuque's Fine and Performing Arts Department will present a Murder Mystery Dinner as a part of its J-Term Murder Mystery Dinner Theater course. Performances will be held Thursday, January 31 - Saturday, February 1 in Peters Commons on the University of Dubuque Campus.
It is 1929 and you are a guest at Kathryn Ryan's dinner party in honor of her late husband, and banker, Francis Ryan. Could saucy torch singer Tiffany be planning more than her next show's big finale? Is the elite loveable boozer Ducky Duckworth III out to commit murder while still having a good time...
Students enrolled in the J-Term course prepared this murder mystery improvisation production to be performed during the second week of the spring semester in the cafeteria during the dinner hour. Characters have been selected, costumed, and rehearsed - but dinner guests will not know who the murderer is until the end of the dinner! The evening's performance will last approximately 3 hours.
The first performance - Thursday, January 31, will be held in the Peters Commons Dining Hall. The performance is open to the public, but intended primarily for UD on-campus students. Students and others attending the event must be in the dining hall by 5:00 p.m., at which time the doors will close (latecomers will not be admitted). Public tickets are available for $10; UD students will be charged their regular meal plan charge.
The Friday, February 1 and Saturday, February 2 performances will be held in the Babka Room in Peters Commons. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. with a 6:00 show time. Reservations are required, with ticketing for 30 seats available for each of these two performances. Again, public tickets are available for $10; UD students will be charged their regular meal plan charge.
The cast includes: Sarah Bark, (psychology), Clinton, IA; Ashley Cooper, (criminal justice), Rockford, IL; Kyle Huseman, (sociology/criminal justice), East Dubuque, IL; Devin Lantagne, (flight operations), San Antonio, TX; Lindsey Reiter, (criminal justice), Dubuque, IA; Tyler Robey, (biology), East Dubuque, IL; Tonee White, (communication), Chicago, IL, and Melissa Whitney, (general science in secondary education), Davis, IL.
