Summer Courses
UDTS offers Distance Master's level classes during the summer. We regularly offer courses required by the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and other Reformed denominations. Many students find these classes are an excellent preparation for ordination exams.
Every summer term, UDTS offers three courses:
- The Polity & Program of the PC(USA)
- Worship in the Reformed Tradition
- Presbyterian History and Confessions
Each of the above courses is 3 credits. In addition, elective courses may also be offered during the summer term. Many students also utilize the summer months for service in Supervised Practice of Ministry (SPM) positions, or in Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE).

All summer, fall, and spring semester courses are offered 100% online. August Residency, May-Term, and United Methodist J-Term courses all include a residential component.
