Why University of Dubuque Theological Seminary
The University of Dubuque Theological Seminary (UDTS) is a vibrant Christian academy that seeks to serve God through learning, scholarship, and worship. It is the only PCUSA seminary associated with a larger, private Presbyterian liberal arts college, the University of Dubuque. UDTS is committed to nurturing faithful Christian leaders for the church and ministry, and preparing students to serve wherever God calls.
UDTS offers three graduate theological degree programs: Master of Divinity (MDiv), Master of Arts in Mission and Discipleship (MAMD), and Doctor of Ministry (DMin). UDTS also offers online opportunities for laity and clergy through our Christian Leadership Program for Commissioned Ruling Elders/Commissioned Pastors. The Master of Arts in Christian Leadership (MACL) degree is offered by the University of Dubuque, with courses taught by UDTS faculty. Online elective courses are offered in the fall, spring, and summer sessions for non-degree students.
