On Saturday, February 23, the University of Dubuque will host "Iowa College Goal Sunday." The event, held at organizations throughout the state during the week of February 16 - 24, is part of the national College Goal SundaySM program, offering free assistance to Iowa students and families with forms required for federal financial aid. UD is one of 34 sites across Iowa to host this financial aid event.

Written by Pearl Cleage, the show is produced by special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service, Inc., New York. Performing Arts, Worship, and Campus Center to be Named Heritage Center

President Jeffrey F. Bullock, today announced that the formal name of the Fine, Performing Arts, Worship, and Campus Center at the University of Dubuque is to be Heritage Center. The Center, sited at the corner of McCormick and Bennett Streets, has an expected move-in date of April 1, 2013.

UD ROTC Commissions Cadets

Four U.S. Army ROTC cadets will be commissioned as Second Lieutenants during a December 20, 2012 Commissioning Ceremony at the University of Dubuque. The ceremony will begin at 11:30 a.m. in Steffens Hall of the Charles and Romona Myers Center, and will feature Major General (Ret.) Robert Felderman (C'88) as the keynote speaker. The ROTC Eagle Company, headquartered at the University of Dubuque, is open to students from all three Dubuque institutions - UD, Loras, and Clarke - as well as the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.

UD Flight Instructor Kevin Bradford Named AOPA Excellence Award Winner

UD Mediation Team Holds First Annual Mediation Tournament

On October 6, 2012, the University of Dubuque Mediation Team, coached by Professor Ben Bartels, held their first annual mediation tournament. The intent of the tournament is to give students a real-life experience as mediator, an attorney, and client. Three students make up each team, and must participate as mediator in one of three preliminary rounds.

The show was originally produced on Broadway by David Stone, James L. Nederlander, Barbara Whitman, Patrick Catullo, Barrington Stage Company, and Second Stage Theatre.
