University of Dubuque Receives Iowa College Foundation Awards

The Iowa College Foundation recently announced the award recipients of faculty and student/faculty research projects. The University of Dubuque received awards through the foundation's Library Challenge Program and Faculty Development Integration Program, as well as awards given in combination with the Roy J. Carver Charitable Trust and the R.J. McElroy Trust. The six ICF awards totaled more than $14,000.

Scholarships received during this campaign will provide much needed funding for University of Dubuque students.

University to Build a Teaching and Administrative Center

President Jeffrey F. Bullock announced today a gift of $8 million from Charles and Romona Myers. The gift will be used for the construction of a Teaching and Administrative Center - a 40,000 square foot facility. Construction is scheduled to begin in June 2005, with an expected completion date of July 2006.

Goldthorp Science Hall Renovation and Addition to Begin in May 2005

President Jeffrey F. Bullock announced today plans for the renovation of and the construction of an addition to Goldthorp Hall, the University's science center. New construction will begin in May 2005, with a projected completion date of May 2006, at which time renovation of the existing building will begin with an expected completion date of December 2006. Estimated cost of the project is $15 million.

UD Names South Campus Facilities
